Sunday SyllabusCOURSE DESCRIPTION
This course will develop the heart of a shepherd in every servant. Pastoring is as simple as caring & discipling others, and as complex as managing a mega church infrastructure, staff, and congregation. We will take a deep look at the practical responsibilities of pastors in every level of ministry, to help students identify their pastoral responsibility and develop a greater respect for those that pastor over them.
COURSE OBJECTIVES
Upon completion of this course:
- Students will understand the importance of basic Christian disciplines like prayer and cultivating character.
- Students will be equipped for non-pulpit roles like counseling and care of the congregation.
- Students will learn how to lead through others and to hold the gifts and calling of others in esteem, so they can be effective in the lives of others.
- Students will be able to resolve conflicts internally and externally according to biblical models.
