Course Description:
The Non-Profit Care and Counseling Practicum is a foundational learning experience that connects biblical counseling principles with practical ministry operations.
During this practicum, students will:
– Learn the day-to-day operations of faith-based counseling ministries
– Observe administrative processes and organizational structure
– Understand how biblical principles are integrated into organizational policies
– Gain exposure to ministry documentation and record-keeping practices
– Learn about non-profit operations, stewardship, and community outreach
– Study ethical guidelines within the context of biblical counseling
This hands-on learning opportunity provides students with practical insight into how biblical counseling ministries function at the organizational level. The practicum experience is supplemented with regular classroom meetings, allowing students to reflect on their field experiences, discuss ministry applications, and develop their understanding of lay biblical counseling in non-profit settings.
