World Religions

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will prepare students for witnessing to adherents of major world religions. As well as apologetic discourse with members of various religions so as to not insult them while defending biblical standards of belief.

 

COURSE OBJECTIVES  

Upon completion of this course: 

  1. Students will understand how various religions doctrines compare with Christianity’s definition of God, life after death, and process of salvation/forgiveness of sin.
  2. Students will gather and research biblical concepts and doctrines on religions in their communities.
  3. Students will gain confidence to share the gospel and help members of our faith communities outside of Christianity, come to Jesus.
  4. Students will be able to confront the lack conformity and uniformity of religious views in our current culture. Distinguishing Jesus alone as the Way the Truth and the Life (John 14:6)!
