Sunday Syllabus T/TH Syllabus

COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course will develop the heart of a shepherd in every servant. Pastoring is as simple as caring & discipling others, and as complex as managing a mega church infrastructure, staff, and congregation. We will take a deep look at the practical responsibilities of pastors in every level of ministry, to help students identify their pastoral responsibility and develop a greater respect for those that pastor over them.

COURSE OBJECTIVES

Upon completion of this course:

  1. Students will understand the importance of basic Christian disciplines like prayer and cultivating character.
  2. Students will be equipped for non-pulpit roles like counseling and care of the congregation.
  3. Students will learn how to lead through others and to hold the gifts and calling of others in esteem, so they can be effective in the lives of others.
  4. Students will be able to resolve conflicts internally and externally according to biblical models.
