Esther was an orphan, Mordecai her cousin adopted her and his own. Esther became queen, she was admired by many, the King Xerxes loved Esther more than the other women and he declared Esther as queen.
Esther continued to follow Mordecai’s instructions. Haman became upset with Mordecai when he did not bow down to him or show his respect. He wanted to get back at him by eliminating the Jews so he went to the king and told him there was a group of people that were different and were refusing to obey. Esther needed to go before the king to plead her case in order to save the Jews from death.
