King Ahasuerus gave feast that lasted 180 days and on the 7th day he requested Queen Vashti, She refused the Kings request and he became angry. When people of the city heard what the Queen had done they also became angry. This caused King to give her position away. Mordecai raised his uncles daughter her name was Ester. There was a beauty pageant and Ester was chosen to be taken to the palace and she was chosen as a new wife.
