Ezra was a descendant of Aaron chief of priest. This book talked about regathering of Jews and their struggle to survive and rebuilt of what was destroyed. Towards the end of the book tells restoration of Israel from exile and how it was Gods doing.
Nehemiah was serving in Persian royal court. This book teaches us the he believed that only through God that change can happen in our lives and we can recover from our past. Nehemiah was a layman, he didn’t claim glory for himself, he always gave the credit to God for his success.
