In 1 chronicles some details that caught my attention was the moving of the ark & when one of the Davids soilders touched it, God immediately killed him. The book entails Davids line of kids, the sins he committed and the effects. I read about how Uriah the hittite was part of the 30 (thirty) and a little about what areas those men came from. I thought it was very encouraging how David informed his son Solomon to follow the Lord’s commands & be obedient to him. The book was more than a summary, but moreover an addition to the details on questions one may have had from 2 Samuel.
