Lesson 7
The book of 1 Samuel is a perfect reminder to us all that as God uses us in any capacity for his purpose, it is necessary to remain humble in our work for the Lord. To have a servants heart and not become prideful or jealous of others as God builds them up and uses them for his purpose as well. We all need to remember it is not just about us and what God is doing in our lives, but remember there is a bigger picture and purpose that God has for us and for others. We need to remain obedient to God doing things his way not our way. The Lord honors obedience before sacrifice.
