Biblical 101 – Joshua
After Moses God called Joshua to lead the Israelite’s across the Jordan river, to take possession of the Promise Land. As long as the Israelite’s obeyed God’s law he promises to guarantee victory in the military campaign, Joshua send 2 spies into Jericho, there they meet a prostitute by the name of Rahab, Rahab hides them until there work was done. She asked them to protect her and her family when they come back to destroy Jericho, they continued to destroy southern and northern cities killing all living inhabitants as God has stipulated.
Joshua makes a farewell pronouncement to the nation tells them to be strong and to obey All Gods laws.After Joshua’s death the Israelite’s behavior falls into evil.
