The Book of Leviticus gets it name from the Levites, the priests. It provides how to live in fellowship with God. It discusses the laws, sins and sacrifices. Sacrifices that needed to be performed to purify the Israelites and make them right with God. It astounds me how many sacrifices were needed to accomplish this in contrast of only needing Jesus to make us right with God now.
