I never realized that this book is the first time Scripture spoke about God’s love for us. Deuteronomy has one of my favorite scriptures in it (Deut 7 12-19) Its about blessings and obedience, If we keep and do them He will love us and bless us. He will keep His covenant and mercy that He swore and He will give us increase and take away our sickness. That if we should say in our hearts that other nations are greater then us, we should not be afraid but remember the mighty hand that delivered us from Egypt!
