The book of Leviticus starts after Moses showed the Israelites how to build the Tabernacle with the instructions of God. Then God appears in the tent of meeting, explaining to Moses the specifications of the Jewish ceremonial laws, which are very detailed showing how and when all religious offerings should be presented to God.
