I enjoyed reading the Book of James. I thought it is a good book to go to for encouragement and instruction on how to live a Christian life. I felt a bit of surprise and comfort when I learned that James, as Jesus’ half brother, did not believe in Him until after his death! Wow! Someone who was brought up in the same household as a brother did not believe in Jesus! What a brother! It brings comfort to me because I should not feel as bad when I speak to my family about Jesus and the transformation He has made in my life and they still don’t see Him and choose Him.
